Oster seeking Palace talks

Crystal Palace winger John Oster is hoping to hold talks with manager Neil Warnock over his future at Selhurst Park.

Oster, 29, has not featured in the first team since September and is moving towards the end of his short-team deal he signed after arriving on a free transfer from Reading in the summer.

"I got injured and since I've come back the boys have done okay and been picking up results and I haven't played," he told the South London Guardian.

"I'm disappointed for myself because I want to play but we'll have to see how things pan out.

"I'll speak to the manager or my agent might speak to the manager and we'll see how things go because I'm only contracted until January when obviously the window opens, so we'll just see what happens between now and then."
