Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is sweating on the fitness of in-form striker Clinton Morrison for the weekend clash with Leicester City.
The Republic of Ireland international has scored three times in his last two appearances - including a brace in a 2-1 win over Luton Town last month - but has sat out training this week with a back injury.
Morrison has joined a lengthy injury list at Selhurst Park which threatens to undermine Palace's late push for a play-off place.
"To be without people like Jobi McAnuff, Paul Ifill, Stuart Green, Mark Kennedy, Shefki Kuqi, Gary Borrowdale, Ben Watson to a point and Michael Hughes, that is going to hurt anyone," Taylor told the club's official website.
"Clinton has done well and the three goals he has scored, he has taken them exceptionally well.
"They were very difficult chances and he's shown all different types of finishes and he gives me the impression that once he does score, he fancies he can score again."
