Lee seals Eagles switch

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has bolstered his shot-shy strikeforce by snapping up the Ipswich Town forward Alan Lee.

The 30-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Eagles after moving to Selhurst Park for an undisclosed transfer fee, believed to be in the region of £600,000.

The former Rotherham United star found the net 34 times in 109 appearances for Town after arriving at the club from Cardiff City in January 2006.

However, after last weekend's 2-0 loss at home to Wolves, boss Jim Magilton has admitted that Lee had 'outlived his stay' at Portman Road.
