Kuqi would consider pay cut

Crystal Palace striker Shefki Kuqi has suggested he would be willing to take a pay cut to remain at Selhurst Park.

Kuqi, who was on the mark during Saturday's 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers, is on the transfer list at the south London club with manager Neil Warnock keen to reduce his wage bill.

When asked if he would consider a drop in wages, the veteran Finn said: "It would depend on how long the contract would be.

"I'd like to stay. I have settled here and I've got friends here.

"I've got a couple of goals recently and if I get a run of games, I know I will score more."
