Jordan cools boss talk

Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has played down speculation which suggests he is lining up former Fulham manager Chris Coleman to replace Peter Taylor.
Taylor has yet to win over the Eagles fans after an inconsistent campaign which has seen the pre-season promotion favourites fail to finish in the play-off places.
Jordan insists he is happy with the performance of the former England Under-21 coach, but rumours persist that Coleman - who spent four years as a player at Selhurst Park - is being lined up to take over in the summer.
However, Jordan has attempted to play down the rumours by saying: "One thing you can count on in football is that things change.
"I have known Chris for a long time, but I have not spoken to him since he left Fulham and at the moment Peter Taylor is the manager of Crystal Palace."
Meanwhile, Palace striker Dougie Freedman is hoping he has done enough to persuade Taylor to offer him a new contract as the veteran striker's current deal expires at the end of the season.
