Ipswich sign striker John on loan

Ipswich have signed striker Stern John on a month's loan from Championship rivals Crystal Palace.The 33-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international is available to face Cardiff on Sunday and will stay with Town until 29 December. John has made seven appearances for the Eagles in a campaign disrupted by a dislocated elbow which sidelined him for three months.
