Hudson happy with progress

Crystal Palace defender Mark Hudson is keen to remain in Peter Taylor's first-team plans next season, after forming an excellent relationship with Leon Cort this term.

The 25-year-old had been only a bit-part player at Selhurst Park in the past, but has become a first-team regular this season, featuring in almost every game.

The former Fulham trainee said: "I've played in most of the games, which is good, and I'm pleased with how things have gone.

"Hopefully, I can stay injury-free and keep my place until the end of the season, then look to kick on from there."
