Holloway ponders Zaha loan return at Palace
Ian Holloway admits he is tempted to ask new Manchester United boss David Moyes if he can borrow Wilfried Zaha next season.
Winger Zaha, who completes a £15million switch to Old Trafford this summer, signed off in style by helping Crystal Palace to victory over Watford in the npower Championship play-off final. Zaha's dart into the Hornets penalty area in the 15th minute of extra time ended with Marco Cassetti bringing him down, with Kevin Phillips dispatching the spot-kick.
"I think he'd be silly to give me him back," Holloway said. "Now we're up it might be realistic, but who knows?"
He added: "He (Moyes) will know the task he's got. Mine will be staying up, his will be winning every week. Good luck to him and good luck to us."
Zaha was in tears after the match, having given his all to ensure his boyhood club would be joining him in the top flight next term.
"I'm speechless," he told Sky Sports 1.
"I'm exhausted and speechless and I don't even know what to say. It's my dream come true and this is all I wanted.
"To leave Palace now, knowing they're in the Premier League, that's all I wanted.
"I told myself I'd give all I can, I've given it 200 per cent and I've wanted it for so long. I just wanted to help out the team and I'm happy we actually made it.
"Walking into the stadium with so many people was amazing and being able to play at such a great ground left me speechless. That's all I wanted."
