Eagles wait on Speroni scan

Crystal Palace are to send goalkeeper Julian Speroni for a scan to discover the extent of a potential leg problem.

Speroni, 29, reported discomfort in his leg during Saturday's 2-0 Championship victory at Coventry City.

"He's just been a little bit sore on the inside of his leg and there was no point taking any risk," manager Neil Warnock told the Croydon Guardian.

"He will have a scan this week to make certain there is nothing too wrong."
