Eagles boss waits to swoop

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is hoping to make several loan signings in the near future, as he prepares to lose another couple of members of his threadbare squad.

Defender Jose Fonte has left for Southampton, while Victor Moses is attracting interest from a number of top-flight clubs.

Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "I don't think we can keep Victor away from the Premier League for much longer.

"Of course I would love to keep him. It's sad and disappointing about Victor and Jose Fonte as well, but that is the situation we find ourselves in.

"But whoever we sell I will put another team out and we will continue to compete with the teams at the top of the table.

"I'm already looking at players I'm going to bring in. Hopefully we are going to loan a couple of players in before the end of the window."
