Double deal boosts Eagles

Crystal Palace have tied England Under-21 midfielders Tom Soares and Ben Watson to new long-term contracts at Selhurst Park.
Watson, 21, has signed up until the summer of 2009, while 20-year-old Soares has penned a deal running for a further 12 months.
Watson has just brought up a century of first-team appearances for the Eagles, having made his debut in April 2003 against Watford.
Soares has just over 80 Palace outings to his name, having made his bow against Gillingham in early 2004.
Both players are currently away on international duty, with new Eagles boss Peter Taylor currently also in charge of the England Under-21 side.
