Davis waits on Eagles deal

Former loan defender Claude Davis is unsure whether he will be back at Crystal Palace again next season.

The 30-year-old Jamaica international is currently back on his home island on holiday and is waiting to see what the future holds.

He told the Croydon Advertiser: "I'm none the wiser than anybody else about my future.

"I'm not back from Jamaica until Friday, so we will see what happens when I return."

Davis played seven times for the Eagles last term and has been told that he is not part of boss Nigel Clough's first-team plans at Derby County next season.
