Davis joins up with Eagles

Crystal Palace added Derby County defender Claude Davis to their ranks on transfer deadline day.

Davis, 29, worked under Eagles boss Neil Warnock at former club Sheffield United and has joined the south London side on an initial month's loan.

Warnock paid £2.5million to take the Jamaica international to the Blades from Preston North End, before Davis' move to Derby 18 months ago.

He is expected to make his Palace debut in Saturday's Championship visit to Barnsley.
