Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday shared the points after wasting a series of chances in an open game.Palace had the best openings before the break with Paddy McCarthy and Darren Ambrose blasting over when well placed and Alan Lee missing from close range. Leon Clarke skewed his shot wide as the Owls responded, then ballooned over when Julian Speroni dropped a cross.
