Crystal Palace defender Danny Butterfield has signed a new two-year contract extension with the Selhurst Park club.
The 28-year-old has been with the Eagles since August 2002, having joined the club from Grimsby Town, with his current deal having been set to run out next summer.
He told the club's official website: "I am delighted to be signing a new deal with the club.
"I really believe that the current squad can continue to perform to a level that will see us challenging for honours at the end of the season.
"This was an important decision for me at this time of my career and I would like to thank the fans for always making me so welcome at Palace.
"I hope we can all move forward together at an exciting time for the club."
