Warnock slams Pompey speculation
The Yorkshireman's betting odds on taking over at Fratton Park had plummeted to as low as 8/1 after a flurry of bets in the last few days.[LNB]But Warnock is keen to distance himself from the job.[LNB]He told the Croydon Guardian: "There is nothing as far as I am aware of and I have had no contact with them.[LNB]"I think one of two fans might want me to take it though.[LNB]"I was offered the job there before Harry Redknapp took it, but I stayed on at Sheffield United and got them promoted so it might just be a good sign."[LNB][LNB]
