Warnock set for goalkeeper U-turn

Flahavan, understudy to Eagles number one Julian Speroni, has become frustrated at his lack of first-team action and has been told he can leave Selhurst Park, with Leeds reportedly interested in the stopper. But with clubs allowed seven substitutes from next season, Warnock will now have room for a keeper on the bench and will need a replacement for Flahavan before letting the 30-year-old former Southend man go. "Obviously with the number of substitutes we can name next season there is more scope for me to name a sub keeper and that's a big possibility for us," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser. "We would need to have a keeper lined up before we let Darryl leave - mainly because we do not have enough players to fill the other two slots."
