Warnock: I will keep fighting
The Eagles boss was unaware the administrators had been called in, triggering an automatic 10-point penalty, until he got off a plane taking him to Newcastle for Wednesday night's game.[LNB]Warnock, who despite the escalating off-field turmoil had guided Palace to two points from the play-offs, is now facing a relegation battle and the sale of his best players, with teenager Victor Moses thought to be an imminent departure.[LNB]"We got on the plane in great spirits and got off to the terrible news that we are in administration," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.[LNB]"I was surprised by the timing of it as there's only a few days left of the transfer window but we will just get on with the job.[LNB]"The supporters have been absolutely fantastic to me since I arrived at the club and me and the players owe it them to roll up our sleeves and continue to fight.[LNB]"The lads are obviously all terribly disappointed and tomorrow night's game will be one of the toughest they have ever played, but I can promise the supporters who are coming that we will be be focused on the match.[LNB]"I've always felt we were more likely to be in a relegation scrap than a chase for the play-offs - and that's certainly the case now. But the supporters can rest assured that me and the players will fight every inch of the way."[LNB]Chairman Simon Jordan has been late in paying the players on a number of occasions this season and the club are now under a third transfer embargo.[LNB]They have reported debts of £30million and were due to face a winding-up order from HM Revenue and Customs on Wednesday - although that has now been dismissed for 12 months.[LNB]One of the club's creditors, investment firm Agilo, called in the administrators with Jordan said to be 'devastated' at the development.[LNB]"He has put everything into this club and he is so upset that it has come to this," added Warnock. "He wants me to continue and that's exactly what I'll do until told otherwise."[LNB][LNB]
