Vaughan would relish Palace stay

Everton striker James Vaughan admits he would be happy to extend his loan spell with Crystal Palace. Toffees boss David Moyes has allowed the 22-year-old to join Palace on a three-month deal and he marked his home debut with a stunning hat-trick in Tuesday night's 4-1 win over Portsmouth. "I was pushing to come out and play some games," said Vaughan. "At the moment it's paying off and I want to push on and get some more games. "If Palace want to keep me and Everton want to let me stay, it's out of my hands so I'm going to see where it takes me and keep enjoying my football. "It's a great club, there's great quality in the squad so I don't see why not."
