Vaughan confident Eagles can soar
James Vaughan has been impressed with the quality in the Crystal Palace squad after joining on loan from Everton.
The 22-year-old striker is at Selhurst Park until December and has vowed to help the Eagles climb the Championship table.
He certainly made an decent start, bagging a hat-trick on his home debut as Palace sank Portsmouth 4-1 on Tuesday to end a run of four successive defeats.
"I'm enjoying it," said Vaughan.
"It's a difficult division but the standard is very good, I think we have got a great squad and we want to push on and get some more points.
"We are going to take it one game at a time but we are quietly confident we can start getting some points and pushing up the table."
