Success down to squad - Speroni

Palace are on a run of one defeat in 10 games which has led many to praise the exploits of Speroni and Darren Ambrose, in particular.

However, the Argentinian shot-stopper is keen to stress the importance of the whole team in Palace's run.

"Darren is doing so well and scoring goals but it's a full squad working together and you cannot win a game with only two players," he told the South London Guardian.

"We are doing a good job collectively as a team and doing what we didn't do before and maintaining that level of consistency. Hopefully if we continue the same way we have a great chance this season."
