Stokes, who joined the Eagles on loan from Sunderland on Monday, made his debut as a substitute in Tuesday's defeat by Wolves and is in line to start against Preston at the weekend.[LNB]The 20-year-old has been used as a left-winger in the past but Palace boss Neil Warnock will play him as an out-and-out striker.[LNB]"I prefer playing right up the middle and I was very happy to hear Neil Warnock tell me that's where he is going to use me," said Stokes.[LNB]"When I've played up front I've scored goals but a few of the clubs I've played for have seen me more as a left-winger.[LNB]"I played as a forward in my first year at Arsenal and ended up as the top-scorer, but the season after that they moved me out to the wing. And when I went on loan to Falkirk they played me up front and I got goals again."[LNB][LNB]
