The shot stopper made a fine save to deny Derby's Kris Commons and assure the 1-0 victory, and he remembers the 2007-08 Championship season vividly "I was chatting to some of my team-mates before the last game and we were talking about not having kept a clean sheet," Speroni told the South London Press. "But I reminded them that we didn't get one until our 14th match in the season we got to the play-offs, and that we shouldn't panic. "If we keep doing our jobs then the clean sheets will come. I kept 15 last season and I want to try and improve on that this season. "But it's not crucial. The most important thing is to win games and if we score goals it takes a lot of pressure off the defenders."
