Smith set to sign short-term deal
The former Arsenal and Millwall wideman has been training with the Eagles for two weeks, and now Palace's transfer embargo has been lifted boss Neil Warnock is able to sign him up.
"We are trying to sort out a short-term deal lasting two or three months, to give him the chance to show what he can do," Warnock told the South London Press.
"He has earned it. I am hoping he will join us and show what he can do over the next few weeks."
