Scannell waiting on op decision
The 18-year-old, who on Sunday night picked up the award for Championship Apprentice of the Year, has been sidelined with a hernia problem which might require surgery.
"I'll find out on Tuesday what the problem is. They think it might be a hernia and that would be the season over for me," he said.
"But I'd rather that than get injured next season."
