Popovic set for Eagles return
Former Crystal Palace favourite Tony Popovic is poised to become Dougie Freedman's first-team coach.
Freedman, who took over as permanent Eagles boss last month, wants to add his old team-mate to his management set-up at Selhurst Park.
The 37-year-old has been assistant manager at Sydney FC but has been persuaded to head back to south London, where he spent five years as a player.
Popovic should be on the touchline when Palace head to Coventry on Saturday.
