Palace players feel the pain

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman claimed his players were "devastated" after the 2-1 defeat at Ipswich. The Eagles only had Paddy McCarthy's goal to show for a spirited performance at Portman Road, where Town teenager Josh Carson scored both the hosts' goals. "The guys in the dressing room are absolutely devastated because the performance was fantastic, as it is most weeks," said Freedman. "Results will sort themselves out. "I'm happy and pleased with the performance, although disappointed to lose."
