Palace midfielder set for surgery
The midfielder has been playing through the pain recently and manager Neil Warnock expects him to go under the knife after the trip to Southampton next month.
"Shaun will need an operation on his shoulder soon and we have to decide when to let him do that," said Warnock.
"It is more than likely to be after the Southampton game. We'll let him have the next few games and then have it done and give James Comley - another youngster - a chance to come into the team."
