McCarthy set for training return
The 25-year-old underwent surgery on his shoulder in January and will see a specialist on Wednesday for an update on his rehabilitation.
McCarthy is set to be given the green light to return to training but Warnock is reluctant to rush him back into the side.
"Paddy will be seeing a specialist on Wednesday and then he will hopefully be able to go into proper training as at the moment he is not doing contact stuff," Warnock told the Croydon Guardian.
"I think Saturday will probably be too early but I don't know.
"He has been training for the last six weeks but hasn't had any sort of games."
