McCarthy set for shoulder surgery
The Irishman was told last month that he could return to action by mid-March, but he feels it may be April before he is back up to speed.[LNB]"I went to see the surgeon who performed the operation a couple of weeks ago and I'm going back there next Wednesday for another meeting - so hopefully I get some good news then," he told the Croydon Advertiser.[LNB]"The club physios are both happy with the way it is progressing - but of course we all know it's going to take time. But we are all happy with the way it is progressing.[LNB]"Mid-March is what the surgeon said a couple of weeks ago but I might go two or three weeks over that."[LNB][LNB]
