The Irish centre-half has been sidelined since undergoing surgery on a long-standing shoulder problem in January. He will therefore miss Tuesday night's clash with Coventry and instead travel to Gillingham for the second-string game to build up his fitness ahead of Saturday's visit of promotion-chasing Cardiff.
