Neil Warnock's sidehave won three and drawn one of their last four games and signed off before the international break with a commanding 4-1 win over Blackpool. "The place is really buzzing again," McCarthy told the Croydon Advertiser. "The result against Blackpool was just what we needed before the break. To get the win at home and get those goals in the first half was fantastic." Palace could be even stronger when they return to action at Cardiff next weekend with the likes of Freddie Sears, Stern John and Claude Davis expected to be fit again. "Hopefully we can get a few of our players back for the trip to Cardiff a week on Saturday and continue with our good run," added McCarthy.
