Second-half goals from Victor Moses and Jose Fonte gave Palace a two-goal lead against a Swansea side that had lost only one of their previous 19 league games.[LNB]Substitute Gorka Pintado pulled a goal back for the hosts after 66 minutes, but they were unable to mount a fight back and Shefki Kuqi added a third right at the death as the Swans crashed to their first home defeat since losing to Birmingham on November 21.[LNB]Martinez felt the Swans had let themselves down, saying: "We always focus on our own performance but we weren't ourselves and played with our hearts and not heads.[LNB]"We should pride ourselves on our performances not on our results and we have learned a lesson.[LNB]"We knew we were going to face a very defensive Crystal Palace but are very disappointed we were unable to find a way through them.[LNB]"The goals we gave away were well below our standards and though they worked hard to stop us playing they only had three shots on goal but scored three times."[LNB]It was Swansea's first home defeat since losing to Birmingham on November 21 and only their second all season and Palace manager Neil Warnock believed his side were good value for the victory.[LNB]"It was always going to be hard against a top side that had only lost once at home," said Warnock.[LNB]"But you can't help but play football on such a superb pitch.[LNB]"Most of the decisions went against us but a bit of quality from Victor (Moses) put us in front and we went on from there.[LNB]"We are in a transition period at the club, money is tight and we have to go with the kids but it is a challenge to play against a top side and beat them.[LNB]"You either let them have the ball and defend or have a go at them and put pressure on and that's what we did and we fully deserved the victory.[LNB]"It was a good team performance and it had to be to beat such a good side."[LNB][LNB]
