Lawrence "desperate" to face Villa
Crystal Palace defender Matt Lawrence hopes to be fit for Sunday's glamour FA Cup fifth-round tie against Aston Villa.
The veteran centre-half, only recently recalled to the first team after being transfer-listed earlier in the season, missed Tuesday night's defeat by Swansea with a hamstring injury.
Lawrence is likely to need a late fitness test but is determined to be ready for the Selhurst Park clash.
"The injury isn't too bad so I'm desperate to be fit and back in the team," he said.
"It's going to be a huge occasion for everyone at the club."
