Freedman: Plans on hold

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman admits he cannot make too many plans for next season until their Championship survival is secured. The Eagles are currently just four points above the drop zone so the prime objective at Selhurst remains ensuring they are in the same division next term. "We were in a difficult situation in terms of the finance but hopefully with the owners we have got, and the financial backing with the foundations, I can plan for the future," said Freedman. "However, it is understandable that I'm not going to able to think about signing big players and then we're not in this division, so any plans I may have need to be put on hold until we get out of this position."
