Football League lifts Eagles embargo

The Eagles were hit with the embargo over a financial dispute, but those issues have been settled meaning Warnock can dip into the transfer market ahead of next week's deadline. "The embargo has been lifted so I'm trying hard to bring in one or two new faces," Warnock told the South London Press. He is expected to tie up deals for Derby defender Claude Davis and former Millwall winger Ryan Smith, and is also in the hunt for a striker with Stern John out injured.
