Fonte delighted to extend Palace stay
The forward joined the Eagles in late January and was involved from the start - coming on for Nick Carle in the 1-0 defeat to Blackpool.
His time at Selhurst Park has been hindered by adverse weather conditions throughout February, but the extension keeps him with Palace until May 3.
"I'm delighted to stay until the end of the season," Fonte told the club's official website.
"I just want to keep working, get some more games and help the team start winning again. I have no doubts staying here. It was an easy decision to make."
