Warnock is desperate for more firepower after summer recruit Stern John was sidelined with an elbow injury. He is unable to sign players due to the Football League's embargo, imposed due to a dispute over alleged unpaid bonuses to ex-players, but believes chairman Simon Jordan will soon get it lifted. "We need another striker," he said. "I have my eyes on one or two and the chairman knows that. "He is working hard to try to get the embargo lifted and he has been really supportive like I expect him to be."
