Easter settled at Selhurst Park

Jermaine Easter says he is settling in well at Crystal Palace as he attempts to try to help keep the Eagles in the Championship. The Wales international striker was due to be on loan at Swansea until the end of January, but a bid from Palace was accepted by MK Dons and the 29-year-old joined on a two-and-a-half-year contract. Dougie Freedman's side lie one place and four points above the relegation places after Saturday's win over Middlesbrough, and Easter is relishing the opportunity provided by his long-term deal. "I have not been there long but I am enjoying being back in the Championship," he said. "My spell at Swansea went well but Palace made an offer before the loan was up and MK Dons accepted it. "It's a reasonably long-term deal. I have just relocated and my wife is moving down with me in a few weeks. I feel I am settling in well."
