Easter hoping to kick on

Jermaine Easter hopes his first goal for Crystal Palace will earn him a run in the side. The striker, a January signing from MK Dons, came off the bench to score with a superb volley in Saturday's thrilling 3-3 draw against Reading at Selhurst Park. Easter has now targeted a starting berth when the Eagles travel to Burnley next weekend. "Every striker wants to get off the mark and it was pleasing to do that," he said. "I have been disappointed not to be playing to be fair because I feel in the games I have played in, although I haven't scored, I have felt sharp and felt like I was a threat. "Obviously strikers are judged on goals, so as long as I am scoring goals hopefully that will be enough to keep me in the team."
