Danns: Record was not a burden
The Eagles had gone an amazing 19 matches without finding the net before half-time until Danns and Alan Lee were on target in the opening period of Saturday's 4-1 win over Blackpool.
"It was nice to get rid of that record," admitted Danns.
"I had read bits and bobs about it but it wasn't something I was fazed by, I knew it was going to come in the end."
