Darren Ambrose and Wilfried Zaha are still missing from the Crystal Palace squad for the visit of Portsmouth.

Midfielder Ambrose, last season's 20-goal top scorer, has yet to recover from a leg injury and rookie striker Zaha serves the final game of his three-match ban. But Edgar Davids could return after missing Saturday's defeat at Reading due to personal reasons and Tottenham loanee Jon Obika hopes to shake off a calf strain.

Recent loan signings James Vaughan and Anthony Gardner should make their home debuts while Pablo Counago is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.
Defenders David Wright (calf) and Lee Hills and winger Sean Scannell (both knee) are still on the sidelines.

Aaron Mokoena is set to miss out for Portsmouth. The South Africa midfielder was stretchered out of Saturday's goalless draw against Ipswich amid fears he had broken his leg. Scans have since shown there was no break but boss Steve Cotterill rates Mokoena as doubtful to figure at Selhurst Park so Richard Hughes could come back into the starting line-up.

Dave Kitson and Liam Lawrence made their debuts on Saturday after their deadline-day moves from Stoke and will continue along with striker Kanu, who made his first appearance of the season after finally resolving his contract dispute with the club last week.

Hermann Hreidarsson (Achilles), Danny Webber, Tom Kilbey (both knee) and Billy Goddard (shin) are still out.
