Crystal Palace star Zaha apologises for gesture

England international Wilfried Zaha has apologised for a rude gesture he made towards Leeds supporters during Crystal Palace's 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park.

Palace winger Zaha was taunted by Leeds fans over his impending transfer to Manchester United and the 20-year-old responded by raising his middle finger towards the Yorkshire team's supporters during the Championship fixture on Saturday.

United and Leeds are long-time rivals but Ivory Coast-born Zaha, who will move to Old Trafford at the end of the season after signing a contract with Alex Ferguson's team in January, was quick to say sorry for his actions.
