Burley taking the positives

Crystal Palace manager George Burley insists the club have made progress since he arrived. Burley took over at Selhurst during the summer after the club narrowly avoided going bust, and despite a tough start which sees the Eagles in the drop zone the former Scotland boss has seen plenty of positives. "It's not been easy, I started with 10 players and tried to build the squad up," he said. "We've given a lot of players an opportunity and although it's been a trying time, it's not been without positives. "We know that if we can pick up a few wins we can move up four or five places quickly. "It's about trying to learn those lessons, improve our away form and add to the squad for the rest of the season."
