Burley sees the light
George Burley believes Crystal Palace have finally started to click, but has warned his players to keep working hard.
The Croydon club have enjoyed a reversal in fortunes this week, ending a run of five straight defeats with a 4-1 win against Portsmouth and a goalless draw with Burnley.
Burley has brought in 13 new players since his appointment in the summer and often stated they needed time to settle.
He told the Local Guardian: "It was never going to happen overnight and we need to keep working at it. We have got a number of young players and it's an ongoing thing we have to work hard at.
"I don't think we've been playing badly, but we have to turn good performances into wins which is not easy. It's a long season and we have to keep working hard and we have some difficult games coming up."
