Burley rues missed chances
Crystal Palace boss George Burley bemoaned his side's inability to convert chances as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Barnsley.
The usually reliable Darren Ambrose was the main culprit for the misfiring Eagles and Patrick McCarthy's own goal proved decisive.
"The Championship is a tough league week-in, week-out and we had half chances, one or two chances, but we just couldn't get in," said Burley.
"I think we had a lot of shots but we just didn't get them on target.
"Darren had four or five. You couldn't find a better player than Darren, but it wasn't the case. We just couldn't get our finishing act together."
