Barrett set for Palace talks

Adam Barrett will hold talks about his Crystal Palace future with boss Dougie Freedman in the summer. The 31-year-old defender has failed to break into the Eagles first team since his move from Southend last July and is currently on loan at Leyton Orient. "Hopefully Palace can stay up and then I'm going to have to sit down with Dougie and see what ideas he has got," Barrett told the South London Press. "I know he'll be very honest with me and I'll be the same back. I've got no problem with that. "Any player has that discussion with the manager. I've got another year left at the club. "If he turns around and says that I'm not going anywhere then I'll get my head down and work as hard as I can for him."
