Dado Prso is confident he will recover from a virus in time to play in Croatia's World Cup opener against Brazil on June 13.
The illness prevented the Rangers striker from featuring in Saturday's warm-up match against Poland, but he is determined to start against the holders in Berlin.
"On Friday night, I was up vomiting 11 times and I'll be glad when I'm back to normal," said the 31-year-old.
"I feel far too tired to play football just now.
"The only consolation is the illness has happened now rather than this time next week when we will be doing our final preparations for the game against Brazil.
"I'll be ready for that one - nothing will stop me playing against the world champions."
Croatia will also face Japan and Australia at the finals, with Group F promising to be one of the most fiercely contested at the World Cup.
