Croatia coach Slaven Bilic said here on Thursday he will quit as national coach after Euro 2012 in Poland and the Ukraine.
"I will conclude my story (as Croatia coach) with the Euro. This is my last championship," Bilic told journalists after he unveiled his 27-man squad.
Bilic refused to comment on reports that he was negotiating to take over at Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.
"The main job is ahead of us. I don't think about what will happen afterwards but only about this big, sacred goal," the 43-year-old stressed in a reference to the European tournament that kicks off on June 8.
The former Croatian international, who played for Everton and West Ham, took over as national coach in 2006. The following year he became a national hero when Croatia claimed a famous 3-2 at Wembley to deny England a place at Euro 2008.
Croatia eventually ended up fifth and failed to qualify into the 2010 World Cup finals.
"I'm certainly a better coach then in 2008 but the goal is the same -- to win Euro 2012," he said.
Bilic repeatedly said he believed his side can reach the quarter-finals despite being drawn with defending champions Spain, Italy and Ireland in Group C.
Bilic was a member of the squad that achieved Croatia's biggest success on the international stage as it won a third-place finish at the 1998 World Cup in France.
