Woodards hints at Crewe exit

Crewe defender Danny Woodards has suggested he is likely to be on his way out of Gresty Road in January.

The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Woodards has also lost his place in the starting line-up in recent weeks, with Jon Brayford preferred at right-back.

"If they want to sell me in January then that is up to them as they run the club and it is their decision," he told the club's official website.

"I've spoken to them a couple of times, but I would rather wait and see what happens.

"I would like to stay, but certain things happen in your life and I have things I need to sort out."
